The Israeli occupation army notified Palestinian citizens in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil of its intent to take over the entrance of their village and use it for military purposes.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers placed a military notice in this regard on the road leading to at-Tuwani village.
The sources said that the Israeli army intends to seize about 178 square meters of land at the entrance of the village adding that the land belongs to the families of Abu Sabha and Rab’ie.
At-Tuwani villagers experience great difficulties in providing decent living conditions for their families as they face different Israeli violations and attacks on them and their property almost on a daily basis.
Jewish settlers and the Israeli occupation forces seek to tighten the noose around the local residents of Masafer Yatta villages in order to force them to leave their homes and lands.
