The Israeli army is considering imposing a military control on Palestinian neighborhoods across Occupied Jerusalem.
According to a Wednesday report by Haaretz daily the Israeli military is examining the possibility of assuming responsibility for security control in the Shu’fat refugee camp and in Kafr Aqab Palestinian areas that are in the jurisdiction of Jerusalem but physically cut off from the city since the construction of the separation barrier.
Haaretz said senior Israeli military officers have been in touch with the office of the government activities’ coordinator to make the plan come true.
No details have been revealed as to the mechanisms and strategies according to which the mission will be carried out.
The plan comes as part of Israeli attempts to force 120000 Palestinians living behind the apartheid wall out of their homes in favor of illegal settlement expansion and more land annexation.
