The Israeli occupation artillery on Friday afternoon attacked different sites in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The PIC reporter said that Israeli tanks stationed at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip fired three missiles towards a Palestinian resistance post in the middle area of the enclave. No injuries were reported.
Another site east of Gaza city was shelled almost at the same time according to the PIC reporter.
The Israeli occupation army issued a statement claiming that the attacks came in response to a shooting that targeted a military patrol east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip earlier in the day.
The Hebrew website 0404 said that the shooting caused damage to some military equipment but there were no casualties.
