Israeli authorities order Palestinian to demolish his warehouse

Sunday 1-August-2021

The Israeli authorities forced on Sunday morning a citizen from Jaljulia in the 1948 occupied territories to demolish an agricultural warehouse on his land under the pretext of building without a permit.

Local sources said that the Israeli authorities issued a demolition order and a fine of 15000 shekels against the citizen if he did not raze his store in the Basateen area of the village.

The citizen was forced to demolish the warehouse by himself in order to avoid incurring exorbitant demolition expenses and fines by the Israeli municipality.

Meanwhile the Israeli occupation authorities delivered demolition orders of two agricultural rooms in al-Walaja village northwest of Bethlehem.

Eyewitnesses reported that the two rooms for Talib Ahmed Hadna and Aisha Jaafar al-Daras are located in the Khalat Al-Hoor site in the Ain Gweizeh area northeast of the village.

The Ain Gweizeh area has been subjected to violations such as razing dozens of houses and delivering stop-construction notices under the pretext of not having a permit in addition to the bulldozing of lands.

Last Tuesday a demolition order was issued against four inhabited homes for four brothers from the Abu al-Tin family claiming that they did not have a permit.
