Israeli bulldozers demolished on Sunday a house inhabited by al-Naqib family in Lod city under the pretext of building without a permit according to the Arab48 website.
The Israeli authorities continue to demolish Arab homes despite the recent announcement of freezing the amendment of Article 116 A in the Planning and Building Law.
Israeli authorities for years have been using “unlicensed construction” as an excuse to demolish Palestinian homes shops and industrial workshops in the territories occupied since 1948 as happened in Jaffa Kafr Qasim Qalansawa Lod and other towns in the Negev.
Meanwhile Jerusalemite sources reported that the occupation municipality in Jerusalem forced Amer Salem from Jabal al-Mukaber town to demolish his home.
The sources pointed out that Salem lives in his house with his four children. He was forced to raze his house under the pretext of unlicensed construction despite his repeated attempts to obtain a license.
