The Israeli authorities on Thursday demolished a Palestinian commercial store at the main entrance to Laqiya village in the Negev desert.
According to local sources Israeli bulldozers escorted by police forces and municipal employees stormed the area where the store was located and embarked on razing the store.
The Israeli authorities claimed the store was built with no license.
As happens systematically with the Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem the Israeli authorities also impose building restrictions on the Palestinians in Arab areas and cities in 1948 occupied Palestine and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.
