Israeli military bulldozers on Monday leveled a potable water pipeline extending between Atouf town and al-Hadidiya hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley for lacking construction permit.
Official of Jordan Valley file in Tubas Mutaz Bsharat said in a statement that crews of Israeli civil administration escorted by two bulldozers and military jeeps stormed the area and ruined the water pipeline causing great damage to Palestinians’ planted lands in the process. He noted that damaging the pipeline was the second of its kind in less than a month.
International and human rights institutions had said that the Israeli occupation authority targets Palestinians in Jordan Valley area by forced eviction confiscation of tools and land bulldozing within a systematic Israeli policy aimed at pressuring the native inhabitants to leave the area.
