OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Avi Mizrahi the Israeli military commander of the central region has issued an order banning the Jerusalemite human rights activist Rasim Obaidat from entering the West Bank for six months.
Obaidat described the decision which was issued on Tuesday as a flagrant violation of human rights and his right of movement and expression guaranteed by international laws and doctrines.
He said that the decision violated his personal rights and his sustenance as he works at an institution for rehabilitating the disabled in Beit Sahur in the West Bank.
Obaidat appealed to international organizations and human rights groups to urgently intervene and pressure the Israeli occupation authority to repeal its decision.
