The Israeli Supreme Court rejected Wednesday an appeal filed by Palestinian villagers over Israel’s confiscation of their agricultural land east of Qalqilia.
The Palestinian committee against Apartheid Wall and settlement construction said Thursday that an Israeli court rejected yesterday an appeal submitted by residents of occupied West Bank villages of al-Nabi Elyas Azzun and Ezbet Atabib against the Israeli confiscation of their lands.
In December 2015 Israeli authorities issued a military order to confiscate 104 dunums of Qalqilia lands to build a road.
The Palestinian residents filed an appeal against the order stressing that the land confiscation would only benefit Israeli settlers in the area.
