Israel’s Ofer Court on Wednesday sentenced the mother of the Palestinian detainee Haytham al-Batat to a suspended 10-month prison-term and a fine of 100000 shekels.
Haytham’s mother Siham was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces one year and a half ago. She was released on a bail and made to attend 11 court hearings afterwards.
Haytham al-Batat from Hamas’s armed wing—Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades—has spent 12 years out of two-life sentences and 30 years in Israeli jail.
