An Israeli military court on Tuesday decided to administratively detain senior Hamas official Adnan Asfour a few days after he was kidnaped from his home in Nablus city.
According to the court decision Asfour will be detained administratively for six months with no indictment or trial.
Asfour was kidnaped from his home as part of a current Israeli campaign targeting Hamas officials and lawmakers with the aim of obstructing the coming Palestinian elections and preventing any possible success for Hamas in the West Bank.
