Israeli military court of Ofer on Monday sentenced a Palestinian popular resistance activist Munther Amira of Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem to actual imprisonment for 6 months in addition to 5-year suspended sentence and fines.
Activist Amira 46 was arrested by Israeli occupation forces on December 27 in a solidarity sit-in with Occupied Jerusalem at the northern entrance to Bethlehem.
He was accused with 12 charges all of which are related to his involvement in popular resistance activities and staging protests against the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
