An Israeli delegation secretly visited the Sudanese capital Khartoum last week and met with the military leaders of the country led by Major General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Israeli media sources revealed on Saturday.
The Israeli Kan TV channel reported that this visit is the third of its kind since the military coup in Sudan half a year ago.
The channel pointed out that an envoy for Al-Burhan visited Israel last February.
Al-Burhan had reiterated that relations with Israel focus on security intelligence and military cooperation.
In January 2021 Sudan joined the list of Arab countries that normalized relations with Israel namely the United Arab Emirates Bahrain and Morocco.
