The Israeli army fired flare bombs over southern Lebanon at dawn Sunday which started fire in the Mays Al-Jabal – Kroum Al-Sharaqi area according to the official Lebanese News Agency.
The agency added that the flare bombs started a fire in the area and smoke was seen billowing from the scene.
In the same context the Lebanese Army announced that 10 Israeli violations of the country’s airspace were registered during which circular over-flights covered various southern regions during the past 17 hours.
The army indicated that it is following up on Israeli violations with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) the Agency added.
Tensions increased on the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine (Israel) as the United Nations called for maximum restraint.
