The Israeli occupation police on Saturday evening assaulted and kidnaped a Palestinian young man near the Aqsa Mosque while another young man was assaulted by soldiers at al-Jalamah checkpoint in Jenin.
According to local sources police officers kidnaped a young man called Murad al-Tarhouni as he was walking in Bab al-Hadeed area near the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and severely beat him.
Meanwhile Israeli soldiers assaulted a young man identified as Sameh al-Qitt at al-Jalamah checkpoint in northern Jenin and detained him for several hours before letting him go.
The young man reportedly suffered injuries and received medical assistance in a local hospital.
