Israeli bulldozers on Sunday morning uprooted Palestinians’ olive trees and leveled cultivated lands in Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley.
Israeli army patrols escorted by bulldozers stormed Bardala village and prevented Palestinian farmers from entering their lands.
Local farmers said that sometime earlier the Israeli occupation authorities threatened to bulldoze land and seize cultivated tracts. Because of the short time-span the Palestinians could not object the order.
The farmers added that huge material damage has been inflicted by such Israeli measures on their sole sources of income.
Israeli occupation forces target Palestinian lands and property in the Jordan Valley around the clock in an attempt to force the locals out of their land in favor of illegal settlement expansion.
