The Israeli police on Thursday morning closed holy al-Aqsa Mosque—Muslims’ third holiest site—before Muslim worshipers at the same time as dozens of Israeli fanatics were allowed to defile the site.
Reporting from the scene a PIC news correspondent said the Israeli forces tightened grip on the Muslim worshipers and denied those aged below 40 years old access into the site moments before they slapped a ban on all Muslim worshipers regardless of their age.
Dozens of worshipers have meanwhile been stranded at the Mosque after the Israeli police cordoned off the entrance-exit gates to and out of the site.
Hordes of Israeli settlers led by Israel’s Jerusalem police chief Uri Livi broke into the site to commemorate the first death anniversary of an Israeli settler following calls by Israel’s Agriculture Minister to defile the Mosque on the occasion.
