Israeli occupation forces on Monday knocked down a Palestinian coffee shop in Battir village west of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Local sources said that Israeli bulldozers accompanied by armed forces stormed Battir village and demolished a coffee shop owned by the Palestinian citizen Wesam Oweineh under the pretext that it is built in Area C which is exclusively administered by Israel.
Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their demolition and land confiscation campaigns in the West Bank in favor of new settlement expansion and annexation plans.
