A number of Palestinians were injured on Tuesday morning in confrontations with the Israeli police forces during the demolition of a Palestinian home in Occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that many Palestinian citizens including children suffered different injuries after being brutally assaulted by the Israeli police for trying to protect a Palestinian home from demolition in Yasul neighborhood in Silwan town.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that Israeli bulldozers accompanied by a large police force stormed Yasul neighborhood in the early morning hours to demolish a home owned by the Burqan family under the pretext of being unlicensed.
Wadi Hilweh reported that the police violently attacked Yasul families during the demolition leaving many of them injured.
It added that the Israeli authorities had issued orders providing for the demolition of all homes in Yasul which are over 80 for allegedly lacking the necessary construction permits.
