Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening arrested three Palestinian citizens after quelling a protest in solidarity with prisoners in Israeli jails in Bab al-Amud area in Jerusalem City.
Wafa news agency reported that the Israeli forces stationed near Bab al-Amud attacked a peaceful protest in support of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails especially those on hunger strike.
It added that three Palestinian protesters including a lawyer were arrested.
