Israeli prison forces stormed on Tuesday section No. 6 of the Negev Prison and conducted thorough searches.
The Prisoners’ Club stated in a statement on Tuesday evening that 80 prisoners who are held in that section were transferred to other sections in the prison.
On Monday a group of Israeli prison forces carried out raids on the Palestinian prisoners’ rooms in Ashkelon prison in which 45 prisoners are being held including sick prisoners.
The raids constitute one of the most prominent abuse policies that the occupation prison administration pursues against Palestinian prisoners.
Since the beginning of the last year 2019 the occupation has escalated the raids and searches inside the prisoners’ wards. The most violent raids were recorded in Ofer Negev and Raymond prisons specifically since February 2019 and continued until this year 2020.
