Israeli forces on Friday wreaked havoc on the furniture of a ruined Mosque in the ethnically cleansed village of al-Sarafand south of Haifa in 1948 occupied Palestine (Israel).
According to local sources Israeli forces stormed the ruins of al-Sarafand Mosque which is still used by local residents for prayers and went on the rampage through it destroying everything including chairs carpets a tent and a barrel containing water for ablution.
The Israeli measure was part of repeated attempts to prevent Palestinians living in the area from visiting the village which was destroyed and depopulated by Zionist forces and gangs in the 1948 Nakba (catastrophe).
However dozens of local residents defied the Israeli measure and held the Friday khutba (sermon) and prayer on the plateau of the Mosque.
