Israeli forces from the Metzada prison unit raided on Monday section 4 of the Ramon jail and transferred several Palestinian prisoners to small cells.
According to Asra Media Office the Metzada soldiers ransacked the prisoners’ rooms in section 4 and shut down all the prison’s sections.
The tension was reportedly running high in the prison’s sections and that all jailers were put on high alert.
Since six prisoners five of them from Islamic Jihad escaped through a tunnel from the high-security jail of Gilboa in September 2021 Palestinian prisoners in all jails have been exposed to suppression and punishment almost on a daily basis.
