Violent clashes burst out on Sunday evening with the Israeli occupation forces in Tekou’ town east of Bethlehem.
Local sources told the PIC that violent clashes flared up in Tekou’ in the southern occupied West Bank after Israeli soldiers deployed at a military watchtower established near the western entrance to the town attacked the Palestinians with randomly-unleashed spates of live ammunition and teargas canisters.
The Palestinian anti-occupation youth reacted by hurling stones at the heavily-armed Israeli forces.
Over recent weeks violent clashes have rocked Tekou’ on a quasi-daily basis amid fears of more extrajudicial executions by the occupation soldiers.
