Sunday 22-July-2018

The Israeli government has approved a plan to build more housing units in the illegal settlement of Metzad southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

An official from the popular committee against Israel’s wall and settlements told WAFA news agency that the Hebrew media had talked about a plan to build 20 housing units in Metzad settlement.

The official said that the Israeli government embarked on enlarging settlements and outposts in eastern Bethlehem.

Last month the government had approved a plan to build 500 housing units for Jewish settlers in Eldad outpost which was built on annexed Palestinian land in Ta’amra area in Bethlehem.
