An Israeli security guard died after suffering serious wounds in an anti-occupation attack on Monday evening near Ariel settlement illegally built in Salfit.
According to Israeli media sources an identified Palestinian carried out a stabbing attack near Ariel settlement leaving an Israeli guard seriously injured.
The security guard was then proclaimed dead after being evacuated to hospital for treatment.
Tight military restrictions were imposed while search operations were carried out in the area.
Unconfirmed sources claimed that the attacker was shot and injured while others said that he managed to flee the scene.
