Israeli gunboats attacked Palestinian fishermen off Gaza shores late on Thursday evening.

The fishermen came under gunfire attack from Israeli gunboats as they were working within a few nautical miles off the shores of as-Sudaniya and Waha areas in the north of Gaza City.

Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for the mediated ceasefire deals in Gaza or even the international law.

The Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen as they were sailing off Khan Yunis and Rafah shores in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday evening.

Local sources said that the Israeli gunboats opened their machineguns towards the fishermen’s boats forcing them to return ashore.

No injuries were reported during the attack.

The incident comes as part of the daily violations by the Israeli forces against the besieged Gaza Strip.
