An Israeli hospital on Sunday decided to dismiss a Palestinian doctor after he gave sweets to a Jerusalemite injured child who was receiving medical care at the hospital.
The administration of Hadassah hospital in Occupied Jerusalem fired the Palestinian doctor Ahmad Mahajnah after he gave sweets to the detained child Muhammed Abu Qeitash following campaigns of incitement launched by Israeli media against Mahajnah who allegedly carried out a shooting attack.
Mahajnah from Umm al-Fahm city in the 1948 Occupied Palestine is a heart-and-lung surgeon. He has recently joined the cardiac surgery section at Hadassah and participated in an operation to implant an artificial heart.
Last October Israeli police arrested 16-year-old Abu Qeitash from Anata town northeast of Occupied Jerusalem after shooting him claiming that he carried out a stabbing attack near the French Hill in the holy city.
