RAMALLAH (PIC)– A Palestinian prisoner said that he and 119 other detainees a few days ago were forced by Israeli jailers to strip naked before they were transferred from Shata prison to another one.
The prisoner told the prisoners’ center for studies that the military units of Yamar Dror and Nahshon director of prison authority Benny Kaniak and other prison officials forced him and his prison mates to undress completely and be stark naked in order to search them.
Director of the prisoners’ center Ra’fat Hamdouna stated that the arbitrary punitive measures followed lately by the Israeli prison administrations against prisoners were aimed at increasing their suffering and undermining the rights which the prisoners had extracted during 40 years of struggle in Israeli jails.
In separate incidents the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped three Palestinian citizens two of them during raids and one at checkpoint in the cities of Al-Khalil and Qalqiliya.
The IOF troops also broke and ransacked a house near the association of academics in Al-Khalil and broke down the doors of many perfume stores belonging to the family of Asaid and caused havoc inside them.
Other Israeli raids on homes took place at dawn Monday in the towns of Jaba and Kafr Ra’iee in Jenin city and resulted in the kidnapping of two Palestinians.
