Violent clashes broke out last night between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Shu’afat refugee camp northeast of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a military jeep alight on the main road in the camp after it was attacked with fire bombs during the clashes.
They said that soldiers indiscriminately fired tear gas canisters during the events causing some families near and inside homes and passersby to suffer from their exposure to gas fumes.
