Israeli massacre in Deir Yassin remembered amidst continued IOF aggressions

Monday 9-April-2007

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Despite their bleeding wounds Palestinian citizens commemorated the 59th anniversary of the Israeli carnage in Der Yassin village where more than 250 Palestinian citizens including children women and elderly people were slaughtered at the hands of armed Zionist gangs in 1948.

According to history and documented facts Palestinian citizens in the village which is located 4 kilometers to the west of the occupied city of Jerusalem were stunned by armed Zionist gangs led by the perished Menachem Begin attacking their village and massacring innocent civilians at the first hours of the ninth of April 1948. Begin became the prime minister of Israel in 1977.

Another “terrorist” group the Stern group which is led by Yitzhak Shamir who succeeded Begin in the premiership post had participated in the carnage.

“Results of this carnage were very great and beyond our expectations as it forced hundreds of thousands of Arabs to flee their homeland fearing for their lives” Begin said about the massacre.

“We have spread paranoia among the Arabs and by a single attack we succeeded to change our strategic condition” the perished Israeli leader was further quoted as saying of the carnage his group committed.

In the wake of the bloodbath in Deir Yassin armed Zionist gangs united and formed the nucleus of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) that later drove 750000 Palestinian citizens out of their homeland at gunpoint and established the Hebrew state on those lands.

History clearly shows that IOF massacres against the unarmed Palestinian citizens had never relaxed since then and that the IOF bloody aggressions on the Palestinian people had taken different forms amidst unexplained indifference on the part of the international community.
