Israeli army patrols stationed along Gaza’s border fence opened on Thursday morning heavy machine gunfire toward Palestinian lands and farmers east of Khuza’a town south of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Local sources said Israeli troops unleashed heavy barrages of machine gunfire toward Palestinian farmlands in Khuza’a town east of Khan Younis city.
The Israeli military routinely targets farmers and fishermen in the besieged coastal enclave of Gaza resulting in heavy material and human damage.
Around two million Palestinians living in the blockaded Gaza Strip have been grappling with a tough siege enforced by the Israeli occupation for 12 years running turning the enclave into what has become known as the world’s “largest open-air prison.”
