Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at midnight Monday carried out military drills in the midst of a Palestinian residential area near Aqraba town east of Nablus hours after razing eight homes and stockyards for lacking construction permits.
Yousif Dairiyeh an anti-settlement activist told Quds Press that Palestinian residents in the area refused the Israeli evacuation order and chose to challenge the IOF soldiers and put their lives at real risk in order to protect their properties.
International and humanitarian institutions perceived the continuation of Israeli home-demolition or even evacuation policy against Palestinians under the pretext of conducting military drills as attempts to push Palestinians to leave their homes and lands so that Israeli forces can seize those strategic sites for both military and agricultural benefits.
