The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) re-opened Monday morning all entrances leading to Deir Jarir village north of Ramallah few hours after declaring it a closed military zone.
Local activist Jihad Yasin affirmed that Israeli forces removed all military restrictions which were earlier imposed on the village few hours after preventing the people’s movement in both directions.
Earlier Sunday Israeli forces had been deployed in large numbers throughout the village and erected a number of military checkpoints northeast of Ramallah.
The military restrictions came after Israeli media sources claimed that two Israeli soldiers were injured during the clashes that earlier erupted in the town.
Hamas Movement affirmed in its daily report that two IOF soldiers were injured during the confrontations while two local youths also suffered rubber bullet wounds.
Eight flashpoints were reported on Sunday throughout the occupied West Bank mainly in al-Khalil and Bethlehem.
