The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening closed off several access roads leading to Palestinian towns and villages in the West Bank following an alleged anti-occupation shooting.
Hebrew-speaking sources said a shooting attack was carried out near Karni Shomron illegal settlement built on Palestinian land in Kafr Lakef village. One person was moderately injured in the alleged shooting.
Israeli army patrols cordoned off access roads between Nablus and Qalqilya and raked through Palestinian residential neighborhoods.
The occupation forces closed off vital thoroughfares and set up makeshift checkpoints in the area.
At the same time three Palestinian brothers were kidnapped by an Israeli patrol at a checkpoint set up near Homesh evacuated settlement outpost.
The three brothers are Fares Thaer and Seyf Hamdan.
