The Israeli occupation municipality demolished on Monday morning a house and a plant nursery belonging to Jerusalemite citizens in the holy city at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources an Israeli bulldozer escorted by police forces demolished a house in Jabel Mukaber neighborhood belonging to Omar Jaafra.
Police officers also kidnaped two Palestinian young men from the same neighborhood during the demolition process.
The municipality also demolished a plant nursery in Issawiya district belonging to Ra’fat Tareq.
The Jerusalemites have no choice but to build without licenses because there are no structural maps that respond to the natural increase in their numbers.
The IOA also imposes building restrictions on the Palestinian natives in Jerusalem and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.
Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes and structures in Occupied Jerusalem is believed to be aimed at psychologically destroying the Jerusalemite families in an attempt to force them to move from the holy city.
