The Israeli navy has arrested four Palestinian fishermen and confiscated two boats off the Gaza shore.
“We were informed that the Israeli navy forces arrested Bayan Bakr Rami Bakr Mohammad Bakr and Mohammad Bakr after losing contact with three fishing boats carrying a number of Palestinian fishermen” Zakaria Bakr coordinator of the Union of Fishermen’s Committees said in a statement to Quds Press on Tuesday.
Bakr added that two boats were confiscated while information about the third is being pursued.
The Israeli navy harasses Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza shores on daily basis firing at them arresting them and confiscating their boats and their equipment.
