Israeli navy kidnaps two fishermen in southern Gaza waters

Monday 10-December-2018

The Israeli occupation navy on Monday kidnapped two Palestinian fishermen as they were working aboard their boat off the southern coast of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Chief of the fishermen Nizar Ayyash told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Israeli navy kidnapped the fishermen and confiscated their boat during their presence off the shore of Rafah area.

The fishermen were identified as Ahmed al-Nada and Mohamed Saidam.

Ayyash denounced the Israeli naval forces for persisting in harassing and arresting Gaza fishermen during their work off the coast of Gaza and preventing them from doing their job normally.

In addition to these two fishermen there are already eight others being detained in Israeli jails and some of them have been in prison for several years.
