Israeli occupation bans travel of 18 Palestinians via Karama crossing

The Israeli occupation authorities prevented last week 18 Palestinian civilians from travelling through the Karama border crossing with Jordan under the security guise.

The Palestinian police said in a Saturday statement that 18 Palestinians were banned from crossing the terminal.

It added that 29000 passengers managed to pass through both sides of the crossing last week.

The Karama border-crossing serves as the sole passageway connecting the occupied West Bank to the outside world via Jordan.

The Israeli occupation authorities impose tight restrictions on Palestinians trying to cross the terminal among them hundreds of humanitarian cases sick patients and students.
