An Israeli occupation court remanded on Thursday the governor of Jerusalem Adnan Gheith in custody until next Sunday.
Gheith got his detention extended for another three days under the pretext of underway investigation procedures.
Gheith was arrested from his home in Silwan neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday November 25 in the second such arrest in a few months.
The Israeli police claimed his detention comes on account of his “illegal cooperation” with Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces. No further details have been provided yet on his case.
