Israeli occupation extends remand of Na’luwa’s mother

Tuesday 13-November-2018

The Israeli occupation authorities extended on Monday the detention of the mother of the chased Palestinian attacker Ashraf Na’luwa in an attempt to force the latter to turn himself in.

An Israeli court turned down the family’s appeal to release Na’luwa’s mother Wafa Mahdawi and adjourned her trial until Thursday.

The mother was kidnapped by Israeli occupation forces several weeks ago from her home in Shweika in Tulkarem. She has been subjected to exhaustive questioning at Israeli detention centers.

Ashraf Na’luwa has been chased down by the Israeli military for several weeks in response to an anti-occupation attack he carried out near Brakan illegal settlement built on Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank.
