The Israeli occupation forces on Friday attacked the weekly peaceful march held in Ni’lin village west of Ramallah to protest Israeli settlement activities land expropriation and the apartheid wall.
Member of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlement in Ni’lin Mohammed Ameirah said Israeli soldiers violently suppressed the rally firing rubber-coated steel bullets stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the protesters to disperse them.
Dozens of protesters were chased down by the occupation patrols across olive groves.
The peaceful march kicked off following the Friday prayer on way to the apartheid wall built south of Ni’lin.
The march dovetails protests over the centenary of the notorious Balfour Declaration which caused the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their motherland.
