The Shin Bet announced Monday afternoon the arrest of the Palestinian who stabbed an Israeli school principal in the city of Lod in 1948 Occupied Palestine last week.
The Israeli police had said at the time that the stabbing was criminal in nature. However the Palestinian detainee admitted carrying out the anti-occupation stabbing attack for nationalistic reasons according to Walla news site.
It claimed that the stabber Malik Ismail 19 from Halhoul town in al-Khalil confessed to stabbing a woman in her forties. She was moderately injured in the upper part of her body and was taken to hospital after she had fainted.
