Israeli policemen arrested a Palestinian youth from the Negev after chasing his car and shooting at him at dawn Saturday.
A police statement said that the youth refused orders for stopping at a road barrier and sped away during which he collided with a police car and injured four border policemen after which he was arrested.
In an earlier incident Israelis in Haifa attacked a Palestinian youth while in car on Friday night.
Local sources said that Fathi Al-Sayed 34 was assaulted in southern Haifa after his car was attacked and that he suffered various wounds and was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for treatment.
The Israeli police claimed that they will investigate the incident but no arrests were made.
