The Israeli occupation police on Saturday arrested a Palestinian ex-detainee after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted him in Musrara neighborhood in central Jerusalem.
According to local sources police officers arrested 23-year-old Bakr Owais an ex-detainee after settlers beat him and damaged his car.
Owais had been detained and jailed more than once and financially penalized for throwing stones at Israeli soldiers and participating in protests against Israel’s home demolition and displacement campaigns in the holy city.
