The Israeli police arrested on Sunday evening the released prisoner Raafat Al-Issawi brother of the two prisoners Medhat and Samer after storming his house in al-Issawiya neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation police raided the house moments before his daughter Laila’s engagement party and a day before releasing his brother Medhat from the Israeli prisons.
Issawi’s family had decorated their house awaiting the release of their son after he has completed his eight years sentence.
All the family members including their sister the lawyer Shireen were arrested and detained in the occupation prisons.
The occupation police had previously demolished Raafat al-Issawi’s house during his brother Samer’s hunger strike which lasted 227 days.
In 2019 the family received the third notice for the demolition of Samer’s house despite paying heavy fines under the pretext of building without a permit.
