The Israeli occupation police on Tuesday morning arrested two Jerusalemite young men after they opened the gate of the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer area.
According to local sources Israeli police forces rushed to the gate of Bab al-Rahma checked the IDs of two young men identified as Bashar Najeeb and Tawfiq Najeeb and rounded them up.
The Israeli police arrest any Palestinian or Islamic Awqaf officials and employees if they open or try to open the Bab al-Rahma prayer area.
45 Awqaf officials and employees were arrested recently and most of them were released after banning their entry to the Aqsa Mosque for several days or months.
