Israeli police troops on Saturday afternoon assaulted a Palestinian young girl and removed her headscarf in Occupied Jerusalem.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that Israeli police elements brutalized 20-year-old Aseel Abul-Lail removed her headscarf and rounded her up in Salahuddin street in Jerusalem.
The reporter added that police forces suppressed other participants in a peaceful march organized in the same street to denounce the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and caused injuries to at least 12 of them.
Several protesters were also subdued and arrested by the Israeli police in the area.
