Israeli police forces on Friday evening abducted four Palestinian youths in the Old City of Jerusalem after brutally beating them local sources said.

According to local residents the Israeli police stormed Qanatir Khdeir neighborhood in the Old City assaulted four Palestinians and detained them.

The four detainees were identified as Anas Maraqustah Wasim Taha Bijo Taha and Abed al-Sharbati.

The Israeli occupation police on Saturday evening arrested four Palestinian citizens after beating them in al-Isawiya town north of Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the Israeli police were seen violently assaulting four Palestinians identified as Ahmad Derbas Basel Obeid Mohammed Abu Ryala and Robeen Jaber at the entrance of al-Isawiya.

They added that the four young men were later detained and transferred to an undeclared destination.
