Israeli police on Wednesday violently broke into the home of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) representative Ahmad al-Ruwaidi in Silwan town in Jerusalem.
Al-Ruwaidi in press statements said that the Israeli attack on his home comes as part of attempts to undermine his organization’s work in Jerusalem.
Al-Ruwaidi said that he tried to prevent the Israeli police from storming his house contacted various international parties operating in Jerusalem and informed them of what happened.
The OIC representative said that he will continue to oppose Israel’s racist policies in Jerusalem and expose its violations despite the constant pressure and harassment.
